Charles Jamieson has been involved with the oil industry for nearly 40 years. He joined Premier Oil firstly as Financial Director, then CEO in 1992, retiring in 2005. He then became Chairman at Salamander Energy Plc. He has also been a Non-Executive Director of AWE Ltd. Before joining Premier Oil, Charles held positions at Gulf Oil and at Ernest & Young in London, Sydney and Auckland.
